Marc Bell, board member
Marc Bell is a kindergarten teacher for Mustang Public Schools. He is studying film and video production at Oklahoma City Community College. He enjoys video editing, writing, painting, planning children's parties and spending time with family and freinds. He has a knack for finding and refurbishing mid-century furniture.
Rebecca Cruise, board member
Rebecca Cruise is an Oklahoma transplant from Ketchikan, Alaska. No, she does not know Sarah Palin. She is finishing up her doctorate in political science at the University of Oklahoma, where she also works as an adjunct professor. Her hobbies include watching OU football, traveling and attempting to play soccer with the Fighting Chickens indoor soccer team. She also enjoys hanging out with Wally the schnauzer and with her fabulous husband, A.J. Kirkpatrick.
Lauren Dennison, vice president
Lauren Dennison is a recent graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in public relations and a minor in Spanish. She is the events manager for Oklahoma City Beautiful. Lauren is from Mustang and lives in Oklahoma City.
Megan Elliott, board member
Megan Elliott is an executive assistant with Accel Financial Staffing where she has been a member of their team since 2002. She is an active Rotarian, is the past president of Oklahoma City Midtown Rotary and has multiple roles with Rotary International District 5750. Some of Megan’s favorite hobbies include traveling, crafts, reading and jigsaw puzzles. Yes, jigsaw puzzles. She is always armed and ready with pictures of her dog, Tallulah, and would be happy to share them with you!
Frank Hinton, general counsel
Frank Hinton is an oil and gas and real property attorney with Elias, Books, Brown and Nelson in Oklahoma City. He is an active Rotarian and a graduate of the Leadership Oklahoma City LOYAL program. Frank grew up in the mountains of southeastern Oklahoma near Talihina and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law and Oklahoma Baptist University. In his spare time, Frank enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, and attending whatever local art and music events he can.
Darrelyn Hoffman, board member
Darrelyn Hoffman was born and raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a sociology degree. She immediately began working for Southwestern Bell and then transferred to AT&T-Lucent Technologies. She retired early and works several part-time jobs, including as office manager of Oklahoma Community Theatre Association. She caught the travel bug years ago and is always ready to go. Her hobbies include gardening, volunteering at the Oklahoma City Zoo, attending OSU football, watching tennis and getting together with friends.
Carrie Coppernoll Jacobs, secretary
Carrie Coppernoll Jacobs is a reporter and columnist for The Oklahoman, where she has been since 2004. She is a native of Mountain Home, Ark., and a graduate of the University of Arkansas. She enjoys playing and watching sports and spending time with her family. She is a graduate of the Leadership Oklahoma City LOYAL program. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, Vilakazi President Leigh Jacobs, and their daughter, Mia.

Leigh Jacobs is a recruiter and human resources professional at Frontier Express. He helps people find jobs at the trucking company. In his spare times, he likes to play soccer, squash and softball. He is a native of Cape Town, South Africa. Leigh moved to the United States in 2000 to attend college. He is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, where he earned his bachelor's degree in psychology. He lives in Oklahoma City with wife, Vilakazi Secretary Carrie Coppernoll Jacobs, and their daughter, Mia.

Michael Kimball is a breaking news reporter at The Oklahoman and NewsOK.com He is a 2007 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He grew up in Albuquerque, N.M., and lives in Edmond with his wife, Vilakazi treasurer Susanne Temple. Michael joined Vilakazi because he believes it is the role of the fortunate to help the less fortunate.
Susanne Kimball, treasurer
Susanne Temple is the campaign manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s School & Youth Programs in Oklahoma. She likes to read, relax, workout, travel and see new things. She's a huge Thunder fan and OU football fan. She lives in Edmond with her husband, Michael Kimball, who is also a Vilakazi board member. She is originally from Shreveport, La., but has lived in Oklahoma since age 12.
Jackie Mania, board member
Jackie Mania is a federal grants manager with Oklahoma City Public Schools and is pursuing a doctorate in education administration at Oklahoma State University. She is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City's LOYAL program and was named one of OKC Biz Magazines Forty Under 40 for 2011. Jackie enjoys - yes, enjoys - running half marathons, traveling, reading, and baking.
Ginger Roberts, board member
Ginger Roberts lives with her husband, Brad, on 65 acres in Guthrie, where they like to retreat and watch the wildlife. They love the outdoors, traveling, golfing and skiing. Ginger grew up in Midwest City and attended Carl Albert High School. After several years of night school, she graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a bachelor’s degree in personnel management. Ginger works for U.S. Shotblast, an Oklahoma City manufacturing company that her husband and father-in-law founded in 1997.
